Tesamorelin 5mg — Modified GHRH Analog
Tesamorelin takes a fundamentally different approach to GHRH stabilization than CJC-1295. Instead of swapping amino acids to resist DPP-IV, it caps the N-terminus with a lipophilic trans-3-hexenoic acid group that blocks aminopeptidase access. And instead of truncating to 29 amino acids, it keeps all 44 — the full native GHRH sequence with protection bolted on.

Three ways to stabilize GHRH
Sermorelin: no modifications, short half-life (~11 min), clean pulsatile release. CJC-1295 No DAC: four amino acid substitutions, moderate half-life (30 min-2 hours). Tesamorelin: full-length sequence with lipophilic N-terminal cap. Three different engineering philosophies applied to the same receptor target. Peptide Bio Sciences LTD stocks all three.
Research context
Protease assays have confirmed that the trans-3-hexenoic acid group provides effective aminopeptidase resistance. Published studies have examined Tesamorelin in pituitary GHRH receptor signaling, somatotroph response kinetics, and head-to-head comparisons with Sermorelin and CJC-1295.
